a little more human interest

packing up?
I have been told that my pictures lack some human interest and having spent the weekend doing fun things with lots of people and still posting a flower as my picture yesterday I decided to use this one; which has almost three people in it. Good Luck Nikki & Lisa, have lots of fun, I'll see you in January when I'm sure you'll be much better at packing!!

Morning dew.
Today's photo was rather unexpected, I've had busy day- a failed attempt at surfing (the weather let me down), seaside fish and chips and mooching in arcades, a wander around York and a quick pint and finally out for a farewell dinner with lots of friends. All of which should have given a multitude of photo opportunities and did, but my favourite picture today was taken in a moment waiting at the end of my driveway...

Sunday night at Bingley Live

Saturday night at Bingley Live
And so two weeks into my year and it seems rather more difficult than I expected to upload a photo a day, a combination of not staying at home, getting late and in no fit state to evaluate a photo or not really doing anything exciting. It is those days that shall hopefully become easier to fill as I improve my camera skills and look for interest in those small things that I see every day.
This week has been particularly busy; Roo my littlest sister departed on her 8month old world trip- resulting in only 3 hours sleep for me as i'd volunteered to do the airport run at 3am! A flying visit to Grandma, a festival, other sister, Laura's birthday, an afternoon playing football with my nephews and finally I've managed to fit my pannier rack to my new bike, much bending, stretching and aluminium spacers were required as well as a couple of tips from the helpful men in the bike shop!
